What it Solves

We build quoting systems in Claris FileMaker Pro® that do more than generate a number. They coordinate input from multiple departments, track revisions, automate PDF generation, and prepare downstream data for purchasing, production, and project handoff — all in one place.

Each system tracked the history of every quote, including revisions, pricing changes, and the version that won the work. When the quote became an order, the system already had the data needed to move into production or purchasing — no re-entry required.


Real-World Examples

2Teck – Building Services Quoting and Estimating System

Multi-division quoting for Electrical, Plumbing & Heating, Air Conditioning, and Communications. Each team contributed technical specs and pricing, with labour costs calculated based on skills required and site constraints. The system tracked revisions and fed successful quotes straight into supplier order generation and job costing.


Coexistence – Contract Furniture Specification & Quote Builder

Quotes were assembled from over 2,000 supplier options, with consultants choosing based on design fit and lead times. The system presented prices by room or area, handled quantity-based discounts, tracked design revisions, and helped consultants understand pricing shifts as selections changed. Outputs were clean, clear, and client-ready.


Winch Design – Design Services Quoting

Quotes based on interior design time per cabin or zone, with adjustments for space complexity and quality. Real-time updates ensured budgets stayed aligned with evolving client needs. Outputs included summaries by area or full breakdowns by space.


Winch Design – Interior Fitout Procurement Quotes

Three-phase quoting: budget estimate, supplier quote gathering, and final cost tracking. Products were quoted, sourced, and approved via linked supplier spec sheets. Once approved, supplier orders were generated automatically. Final invoice reconciliation showed any pricing differences and provided full traceability.
